Will ValleeSenior:
Outdoor Education Baritone
Will is singing baritone this year for the Gents. He
is from Avon, CT and in high school was an Avon Lady. He is a brother at Beta
and, much like Beta fighting fish, gets all puffy when he gets upset. He enjoys wrestling in gooey
substances like jello, pudding, mud and peanut butter.

Jon Blauvelt
Senior: Classics Musical Director 08'-09'
Bass
Jon is from Manchester, NH. He is a lot like 'Little
Jon', of Robin Hood, except he steals from the rich and keeps it all. That
makes him a lot like his brother, I mean friend, Andrew Lundquist. If you look
closely, you can see a little of Jamie, Jon's actual brother, in Jon. As a
child he bit a chunk of Jamie's ear off in a freak wrestling brawl. Paul Goodman - Musical Director Junior: History Tenor II
Paul is a Tenor II from Fairfield, CT and the current musical director of the group. He has
been singing all of his life and likes musical theatre enough to minor in
it. While gallivanting about Durham, he is frequently mistaken for famous rapper Paul Wall, for obvious reasons. However, Paul doesn't let the fame get to his head and continues to conduct the group in a cool and collected fashion. His favorite musical groups include Jethro Tull, Red Hot Chili
Peppers and Jason Mraz. Justin Jacques
Junior: Biology Baritone/Vocal Percussion
Justin graduated from the nationally accredited "School of Mixography and Beatology" with a masters degree in Beatboxing. It is rumored that he's so good that he once beatboxed a blind man his sight back, yet this information has yet to be confirmed. As an eagle scout, Justin knows it's always important to be prepared, so he carries a constant supply of Nerds to keep the saliva spittin. Most importantly, Justin keeps the group in touch with their sultry side by repping the rhythm and blues styling of artists like Ne-Yo, Mario, Boys II Men, and Usher. He likes his beats cooked over-easy.
 David Dearborn
Junior: Communications Tenor I
Dave is the trophy Tenor I that any girl could bring home to mother. With the voice of young canary, Dave holds down the top notes that make the ladies sigh. As an avid soccer fan, Dave can be found dribbling, juggling, and kicking the ball at any European that dares to call the sport Football, regardless of whether it makes perfect sense. Dave brings the funk and rock to the group with the few of his favorite bands like Breaking
Benjamin, Chevelle, and Nirvana.
 Dan McAuliffe - Business Manager
Junior: Business
Business Manager '08-09 Tenor I
Dan "Doogal" McAuliffe is the business manger this year, crunching the extensive amount of data that the Gents tend to generate. Phonebooks, spreadsheets, the miscellaneous receipts, you name it, he has it. If he isn't on the phone booking us for the usual gig at Carnegie Hall, he is working on designing winter gloves for those with substantially large hands. All kidding aside, his hands are the size of stop signs. Some of his musical influences are The Beatles, The Alternative Routes, Led Zeppelin, and Bob Dylan for good measure.
 David Bransfield
Sophomore: Hospitality Management Baritone
Dave, at a towering altitude of 5'Something", is the muscle of the group. To stay healthy and strong, he's sure to eat his daily morning serving of Bran Flakes, and in his free time, Dave is a leading advocate for tall doorways. As a baritone he is trained to add that "low tone" sexy style that so many of the tenors weren't blessed with. He is also currently employed
by Bertucci's Restaurant where he is a host/waiter, so be sure to tip. Tim McCormick
Sophomore: Undeclared Tenor II
Tim is the versatile Tenor II of the group, lending his immaculate range to reach the highest of highs and the lowest of lows like some divine love child of Barry White and Michael Jackson. His interests tend to revolve around competitive lumber-jacking and wide open spaces, though he is an adamant tree-hugger. As you might have guessed, Tim's
grandfather is the famous founder of the McCormick spice company, explaining his spicy hot looks and sweet and sour personality. Ben WinchellFreshman: Exercise Science Bass
Ben is a newly added
bass to the group, using his powerful pipes to belt that lower walking bass line
that can shake a California Redwood from its roots. You may think that low and
bellowing roar you hear from the summer sky is a thunderstorm, but in fact it’s
actually just Ben warming up those heavenly hearty vocal chords. Scientists
speculate that Ben’s first words ended in the lowest recorded note in history,
but it still had yet to be confirmed. If you don’t understand by now, the boy
can sing, very low.
 Jon BaldwinFreshman: Business Baritone
Jon is our newfound sultan of soul, whose airy
voice rings like the bells of Thompson Hall. Hailing from Melrose, MA, Jon is
representing the Beantown state as he brings a quiet confidence to the stage.
Ladies line up to hear this boy belt it, with a low-range falcetto that would
make any member of Boyz II Men stand in awe. Oh and don't worry, he's got a
good head on his shoulders as he works by day earning a degree in the well-respected
school of business.
Paddy DaytonSophmore: Economics Tenor II
Paddy, a newly acquired
sophomore, is an All-American heartthrob that brings the charm. Woven deep
within his golden locks lies a treasured talent that remains unmatched, that
raised our Tenor II section to new levels. That being said, he will not be
getting a haircut anytime soon. He can throw a pigskin a quarter mile and is a
expert in the arts of fine dining. All praise aside, Paddy is one with the
outdoors and Frisbee and attends the Congressional
Church of Phish religiously each Sunday.
